How to get slim sexy abs is the ultimate question especially for those of us who need the extra help. I hope these tips will get you moving in the right direction.

First off, getting slim sexy abs is more about what you eat versus how much. Calorie counting is a tedious task and figuring out how much is a real pain. Instead lets focus on the food that are lnown to help both fill you up and to help stoke the fat burning furnace.

One is eating whole grains. I know that everyone is talking about cutting carbs however, cutting the bad carbs is whats really important here. those would be the sugar loaded carbs found in processed foods like donuts and sugar laiden food like the obvious candy.

Instead focus on eating foods like oatmeal, wheat germ and even whole grain pastas. At my house thats all we eat anymore for spagetti and the kids love it.

The next good carbs to eat are of course veggies. I tend to stay with green beans and salad stuff because thats what I perfer. I also stay with those because I have to take blood thinners and they have the least effect on my blood.

The real key is to find ones you enjoy and incooperate them into your lifestyle. I would avoid the ones that are higher in sugar content like corn and peas, and potatoes because once they are cooked they become a starch and go right to the belly. Otherwise go nuts.

Speaking of nuts almonds, peanuts and even a good organic peanut butter on whole grain bread is a great way to go. Nuts have the healthy fats in them that tell your body to burn fat which is a good thing. Be careful of serving size though you can have too much of a good thing too. About 15 almonds is the right portion. For the others read the labels to get their suggested serving size. Also, stay away from the roasted varieties, plain and naturals is the way to go.
